What is Thermography?
Infra-red / Thermal imaging detects and records surface temperatures using a thermal camera and transforms them into visible data which can be recorded as a photograph.
Different parameters are set for each specific survey to ensure that the best results are achieved. (emissivity, ambient air temperature, surface temperature, distance, humidity, and temperature range)

Heat-Loss

This infra-red image shows the heat-loss properties of a roof on a cold winter's day in mid-winter, (Different temperatures are shown as different colours)RedBird Drone services will take multiple images and compare and analyse the results and provide a full report detailing areas of interest and anomalies that need further investigation.

Survey Process

RBDS will undertake pre survey checks and will interact with you personally prior to the survey date to ascertain your specific needs and worries.
The actual survey takes about ½ a day depending on complexity and objectives.
We then create a report with a complete set of images and comments / actions which is then presented to you so you fully understand the results and enable discussion about remedies / action.

We can survey individual houses and business premises of all ages, size and design.
By utilising ‘state of the art’ thermal drone technology we can discover expensive energy loss and other defects on new-build and existing properties and our report will provide valuable information.
